From Parallel Sessions Committee

Where are all the parallel sessions held?

  • CME and Sunday Morning Program are held in Marriot Inner Harbor Ball Rooms
  • Some parallel sessions including many of the children’s' programs/activities are held in Meyerhoff Auditorium (Recital Hall, Governing Members Lounge or Musicians Lounge)
  • Most other parallel sessions are held in University of Baltimore (UB) - Business Center or Langsdale Auditorium which are 2-3 blocks away from Meyerhoff. 

 

Where is the Sri Sri Ravishankar program?

  • Sri Sri Ravishankar program is scheduled at Langsdale Auditorium (University of Baltimore). It is about 2-3 blocks away from Meyerhoff. Please use the side-entrance of Langsdale Auditorium since the main entrance is through the library is closed on July 7th.

Are there any Kids Activities?

  • There are several kids programs, including Dr. Brenda Beck's Udukkaiyadi, taking place throughout the day in Recital Hall (Meyerhoff).
  • Governing Members Lounge is where several other kids programs take place throughout the day.
  • Some of the activities planned are Parcheesi Game for kids, MadScience, and  Daves' Magic Show.
  • In any case, kids and parents can hang out at Governing Members lounge and Musicians Lounge if nothing is taking place in these lounges.

Are there any youth programs?

  • There are many youth programs planned. Youth basketball, Thamizhan-Thamizhachchi competition, Tamil Theni, National Tamil Youth Organization (NTYO) Meet the Stars program are some of the youth activities.

From Food Committee

Is there any Kids Menu?

 

  • Yes, Under Age 9 Kids menu is free. Pasta (Italian style), Veg. Noodles are available.

Is there any fast food place nearby?

 

  • Pizaa, Subway, Hot Kabob, Chipotle, Thai Place are there near North Charleston street (Less than 5 minutes walk from Auditorium)

Is there Breakfast?

 

Yes, South Indian Foods are available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning at Food Tent near Auditorium.   Breakfast and snacks will be served at the following locations/timings at nominal price.

  • Yes. Coffee / Tea / Some Juices are always available.

From Tourism Committee

Is there any Tour arrangements in and around Baltimore Area?

 

  • Yes. Tourism information sheet is available in the Registration package.
    After the convention Niagara trip will be arranged for Tamilnadu Registrations (sponsors).

Is there any Information Desk?

 

  • Yes. Check near Registration Table. Volunteers are available for your Convention / Food / related questions.
